 "text": "RS 14:95.1.4\n\n\u00a795.1.4. Illegal transfer of a firearm to a prohibited possessor\n\nA. Illegal transfer of a firearm to a prohibited possessor is the intentional giving,\nselling, donating, lending, delivering, or otherwise transferring a firearm to any person\nknown to the offender to be a person prohibited from possessing a firearm under state or\nfederal law.\n\nB. Whoever commits the crime of illegal transfer of a firearm to a prohibited\npossessor shall be fined not more than two thousand five hundred dollars, imprisoned with\nor without hard labor for not more than one year, or both.\n\nActs 2018, No. 367, \u00a71, eff.
