 "text": "RS 14:92.3\n\n\u00a792.3. Retaliation by a minor against a parent, legal custodian, witness, or complainant\n\nA. Retaliation by a minor against a parent, legal custodian, witness, or complainant\nis the willful, malicious, and repeated threats of force against or harassment of a person or\nhis property by a minor under the age of eighteen accompanied by an overt act on the part\nof the minor or by the apparent capability of the minor to carry out the threat or harassment,\nagainst a parent, legal custodian, person who filed a complaint against the minor, or a witness\nin a criminal case in which the minor is the defendant or charged with a delinquency and the\nminor intends to place that person in a reasonable fear of death, serious bodily injury, or\ndamage to property.\n\nB. The provisions of Subsection A do not apply if the conduct of the parent, legal\ncustodian, person who filed a complaint against the minor, or a witness in a criminal case in\nwhich the minor is the defendant or charged with a delinquency is acting in violation of any\ncriminal law.\n\nC. A minor who violates the provisions of this Section shall be placed in the custody\nof the Department of Public Safety and Corrections for a period not to exceed six months. \nA minimum condition of probation shall be that the offender participate in forty hours of\ncourt-approved community service activities or a combination of forty hours of court-approved community service and attendance at a court-approved family counseling program\nby both a parent or legal custodian and the minor.\n\nActs 1995, No. 702, \u00a72; Acts 2001, No. 403, \u00a71, eff.
