 "text": "RS 14:68.2.1\n\n\u00a768.2.1. Failure to report unauthorized use of supplemental nutrition assistance program\nbenefits; penalties\n\nA. Employees of the Louisiana Department of Health, owners, employees and\noperators of retailers that accept SNAP benefit access device transactions, and adult\nhousehold members of SNAP recipients shall report each instance of known fraud or abuse\nof SNAP benefits, or any known unauthorized use of SNAP benefits or a SNAP benefit\naccess device as defined in R.S. 14:68.2, to the Louisiana Department of Health via the\nPublic Assistance Fraud Hot-Line as provided for by R.S. 46:114.1.\n\nB. Whoever violates the provisions of Subsection A of this Section shall be fined not\nless than two hundred fifty dollars nor more than five thousand dollars.\n\nActs 2012, No. 677, \u00a71, eff.
