 "text": "RS 14:54.6\n\n\u00a754.6. Communicating of false information of planned bombing on school\nproperty, at a school-sponsored function, or in a firearm-free zone\n\nA. The communicating of false information of a bombing threat on\nschool property, at a school-sponsored function, or in a firearm-free zone\nwhether or not such threat involves fake explosive devices is the intentional\nimpartation or conveyance, or causing the impartation or conveyance by the\nuse of the mail, telephone, telegraph, word of mouth, or other means of\ncommunication, of any such threat or false information knowing the same to\nbe false.\n\nB. Whoever commits the crime of communicating of false information\nof a planned bombing on school property, at a school-sponsored function, or\nin a firearm-free zone as defined in R. S. 14:95.6(A) shall be imprisoned with\nor without hard labor for not more than twenty years. Upon commitment to the\nDepartment of Public Safety and Corrections after conviction for a crime\ncommitted on school property, at a school sponsored function or in a firearm-free zone, the department shall have the offender evaluated through\nappropriate examinations or tests conducted under the supervision of the\ndepartment. Such evaluation shall be made within thirty days of the order of\ncommitment.\n\nC. For purposes of this Section, \"at a school-sponsored function\"\nmeans the specific designated area of the function, including but not limited\nto athletic competitions, dances, parties, or any extracurricular activity.\n\nActs 1999, No. 1236, \u00a71."
