 "text": "RS 14:38.1.1\n\n\u00a738.1.1. Adulterating a food product\n\nA. Adulterating a food product is the intentional contamination of a food product by\nadding to the product, or mingling with the product, any feces, urine, blood, saliva, semen,\nany form of human or animal waste, or other bodily substance with the intent that the product\nbe provided to or consumed by another person who has no knowledge of nor consents to the\ncontamination.\n\nB. For purposes of this Section:\n\n(1) \"Food product\" is any food, drink, condiment, or medication, including all\nsubstances and preparations used for or entering into the composition of the product.\n\n(2) \"Medication\" means any prescription or nonprescription drug.\n\nC. Whoever commits the crime of adulterating a food product shall be fined not more\nthan two thousand dollars, imprisoned with or without hard labor for not more than five\nyears, or both.\n\nActs 2020, No. 171, \u00a71."
