 "text": "RS 14:100.13\n\nNOTE: This provision of law was included in the Unconstitutional Statutes\nBiennial Report to the Legislature, dated March 14, 2016 .\n\n\u00a7100.13. Operating a vehicle without lawful presence in the United States\n\nA. No alien student or nonresident alien shall operate a motor vehicle\nin the state without documentation demonstrating that the person is lawfully\npresent in the United States.\n\nB. Upon arrest of a person for operating a vehicle without lawful\npresence in the United States, law enforcement officials shall seize the driver's\nlicense and immediately surrender such license to the office of motor vehicles\nfor cancellation and shall immediately notify the INS of the name and location\nof the person.\n\nC. Whoever commits the crime of driving without lawful presence in\nthe United States shall be fined not more than one thousand dollars,\nimprisoned for not more than one year, with or without hard labor, or both.\n\nActs 2002, 1st Ex.
